E-Invoicing
Although it is only one part of the range of services we offer, we recognise that e-Invoicing is a market in its own right, and one in which our B2B Platform provides a perfect base for what we have to offer.
As market conditions drive organisations to look for new ways of saving cost and improving efficiency, a rapidly increasing number are starting to send out invoices as files rather than paper documents. Compliance with legislation and tax rules is of course paramount, but across the world governments are adjusting their stance to support, rather than hinder, the practice of e-Invoicing.
In its simplest form, our solution enables us to:
- collect invoices as files from your accounting system
- apply a set of rules based on the preferences expressed by each of your customers, for example:
- convert them into a readable format (such as PDF) and deliver them as e-mails
- route them securely and directly to the customer’s back office system
However, we have a number of additional features to our e-Invoicing service which reinforce security and ease of adoption, or which spread the benefits along the supply chain:
- Our Invoice Portal offers an alternative way of allowing your customers to receive their invoices. They can sign in and view, download or simply print their invoices. And if your business model requires it, they can update the status of each as well, so that you know they are happy to pay and when the payment will be made.
- The Invoice Portal service can be combined with a Customer Portal (so that you can collect orders from your customers as well) or can be combined with our Invoice Management tool for farmers, allowing them to allocate cost heads to the invoices before downloading them into their farm accounting system.
- We are able to apply digital signatures and signature verification to invoices sent via our B2B Platform. This is still a legal requirement in some countries as it is perceived to enhance the security of the communication.
