  • from the vague ideas to tightly pre-defined specifications.

For some of our customers there is not necessarily a clear solution in mind at the outset:

  •  We need to reduce our admin: how can you help?

 

For others, there is already a clear strategic imperative: 

  • to eliminate paper and increase efficiency;
  • to minimise the number of orders place by phone or fax;
  • a merger or acquisition which requires IT systems to be interfaced, often in a very short timescale
  • the need to refresh a website which has grown “stale” and no longer delivers new business

 

And for others the impetus is a request from a customer or supplier to send documents electronically in future.

Workflow

Whatever the nature of the assignment, F4F understands that you must deliver a return on your investment and that this will happen only if there is a clear business drive accompanied by quality of technical delivery on our part. All work is carried out in accordance with our Project Management Methodology, which has been developed to ensure that what we deliver is exactly what you need.

During the initial Scoping Phase, F4F consultants will visit you to establish the nature of the business opportunity and how it can best be fulfilled through the deployment of our technical solutions. We will produce a commercial proposal which describes exactly what we will deliver, enabling you to make the decision to proceed with the project.

Once the engagement has begun, we will complete the technical specification of the work to be undertaken, and will agree that with you before any development work is started. Often we work in parallel with your own IT team, who will manage the import of documents into (and export from) your IT system. Having tested things internally, we will involve both your team and any trading partners in end-to-end testing prior to implementation.

Once you have begun to use the solution we have built, our Support Team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, whilst your Account Manager works with you to enable you to roll out the solution and deliver real benefit to your bottom line.
