WebSupplier is a browser based system that enables suppliers to trade electronically with their customers via a web interface. Suppliers receive orders from their customers and send invoices and other documents via the same interface. To participate in WebSupplier, all you need is an internet connection and a web browser.
Instead of receiving orders via telephone, fax and email, orders arrive in the WebSupplier portal. WebSupplier then notifies the supplier by email or SMS that new orders have arrived, prompting you to open your browser and launch WebSupplier. Orders can then be viewed and processed within the WebSupplier screen with an invoice (or other response document) sent via the WebSupplier portal back to the customer. There is no need to print, post or email invoices and statements as these can all be be sent via WebSupplier.
Large businesses increasingly need their suppliers and customers to trade with them electronically in order to lower operating costs, reduce errors and speed up the flow of information along the supply chain.
WebSupplier enables suppliers to meet the eBusiness needs of their customers in a simple, fast and cost effective manner that does not involve any IT systems work.
From the customer's perspective, WebSuppliers are more appealing to do business with than suppliers using manual (paper/fax/phone/email) systems, which are far more costly and error prone.
WebSupplier enables suppliers to capture some of the benefits of eBusiness in addition to supporting their customers business needs. Suppliers who use WebSupplier may choose to gain more eBusiness benefits by linking their accounting or other systems to F4F and fully automating their processes.
